About Humana Volunteers: Humana Volunteers offers a 10 month international volunteer program in connection with Humana People to People and DRH Lindersvold. The program starts four times a year (January, April, July, and October) and provides aspiring international volunteers with the tools and knowledge needed to volunteer ethically and responsibility.
The program is 10 months and consists of 3 phases: 3️ months of holistic training and preparation at DRH Lindersvold in Denmark 6️ months of contributing to Humana’s sustainable development projects in Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, DR Congo, Guinea-Bissau, or India in the areas of education, public health, sustainable agriculture, or community development 1️ month of reflection and knowledge sharing in Denmark and Europe
About Humana People to People: Our agenda is simple and clear: protecting the planet, building communities and supporting people by connecting them with others in transformative programmes, unleashing their potential for positive change and action. We share this agenda with our partners at all levels.
Our development work is anchored in five key areas of focus, which are community development, sustainable agriculture and environment, health, education and the collection and sale of second-hand clothes.
We work side by side with people in their communities and our innumerable partners, we align with the UN 2030 Agenda and supporting countries as they strive to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals, creating lasting positive change in the process.
